3. Registration |
Please complete your registration by the due date (April 28, Thursday). For registration, please visit use this link and complete your registration and payment of the registration fee.
- Registration on the day is NOT permitted. Please complete payment for your registration by the due date.
- If you wish to cancel your registration after it has been paid, please contact the Conference Committee by email at least one day before the conference. The conference registration fee will be refunded at a later date, minus the bank transfer fee.
- All bank charges must be borne by the participant.
- Non-members wishing to participate need to contact to the Conference Committee.

About Oral Presentation
Presentation time |
Oral presentations will be held on Zoom. The total time for each presentation is 15 minutes (presentation 12 mins. + Q&A 3mins.). The session host will announce 2 minutes is remaining after 10 minutes have elapsed. After 12 minutes, the session host will stop the presentation and start the 3 minute Q&A session. When the total time of 15 minutes have ended, the oral presentation is over. Please keep to the time limit. |
Sharing the screen |
Please share the presentation (e.g. Power Point) on screen and begin your presentation. The presenter will be responsible for any failure while operating Zoom, such as a screen sharing error. Please note that any extension of the presentation time is not be allowed. The presenter can check the Zoom functions during the break time before the session. |
Handouts |
If you have anything you would like to share with participants, please upload the file on the appropriate channel on Slack. Name of the file must be: presentation number + name of presenter + presentation subject (ex. A-1_Masuda_Ethiopia.pdf). |
About Poster Presentation
Place on the board |
Poster will be available on Slack from the 20th through 22nd of May. |
Poster format |
The poster should be A4 or A3 size. It will be posted on Slack as an image file. Please check the resolution quality of the chart/image and the font size. |
How to submit the poster |
Please submit your poster by using the submission form which will be available on our website in early May. Please upload the PDF file to the form. The file name for the poster should be as shown below: "Presentation number_Presenter's name_Presentation title" (Ex. P1_Masuda_Ethiopia.pdf) After receiving the file, the Conference Committee will convert the PDF file to an image file before uploading it to Slack. Deadline for submission of posters is May 18th, Wednesday. File size should be less than 20MB. |
How to comment on poster presentation |
Participants can leave questions or comments for each poster presentation on the appropriate Slack channel. Communication will be text-based, but please enjoy the session. How to use slack (Japanese only) |
6. Public Symposium |
The public symposium (free event) will be held in the following manner. Please register for the event on the registration form. The number of participants will be strictly limited to 490; non-annual conference participants will be processed on a first come, first served basis. Annual conference participants will be automatically registered for this symposium.
